Overview
Our Mission
Camp Dixie is a non-profit Christian camp and conference center
whose mission is to promote the Gospel of Christ through evangelism
and discipleship in quality summer camps for youth and retreat
programs for all ages and to provide a Christ-centered year-round
conference and retreat site.
Our exciting programs, comfortable air-conditioned accommodations,
delicious food, quality recreational facilities and caring staff
keep campers coming back year after year!
Denominational Affiliation
Camp Dixie is owned and operated by the Eastern North Carolina
Advent Christian Conference. A seventeen member board meets bi-monthly
to oversee the direction and programs of the ministry.
Although owned by the Advent Christian Church, the camp is used by
rental groups of many denominations and groups.
Our summer camp programs are open to all youths, regardless of
race, color, or national origin.
Memberships
Camp Dixie is an active member of Christian Camping International.
Our staff regularly attends conferences and seminars to
improve our services to our campers and guests.
